Show Low Lake Campground

Rules & regulations

Your cooperation makes the campground more enjoyable for you and your fellow campers.

Ponderosa pines along the lake shore with patches of snow

Bear habitat. Put garbage in the dumpsters as soon as possible. Keep food tightly closed in coolers and store coolers out of sight. Please don’t keep food in your tent, and keep your barbecue and site as clean as possible. Follow all notices posted or given by camp staff.

  • Check-in and check-out

    Check-in is 2:00 pm. Check-out is 1:00 pm.

  • Quiet hours: 10:00 pm to 6:00 am

Please don’t use generators, loud radios, televisions and the like during these hours. Construction generators aren’t permitted except for very brief periods. Talking quietly and avoiding other noisy activities is greatly appreciated by your neighbors.

  • Campfires

Keep campfires in the provided grills only, and make sure they’re dead out whenever you leave them unattended, including when you go to bed. During red flag conditions, violators will be ticketed by law enforcement.

  • Pets

Keep your pet on a leash, 6 feet maximum, at all times in the campground, and please clean up after your pet.

  • Garbage and waste

Use the dumpsters for campground garbage. Please don’t put garbage in the fire rings, since campers cook on them, or in the toilets, where it’s very difficult to remove. Gray water and sewage go only in approved waste sites, never on the ground.

  • Trees

Campground trees are fragile. Don’t attach ropes, nails or anything else to them, or mark them with axes, hatchets or knives. Clotheslines aren’t permitted.

  • Firearms and fireworks

Firearms are prohibited in the campground, as are BB guns, slingshots and throwing objects that may cause injury. All fireworks are illegal anywhere in the City of Show Low because of fire danger.

  • Driving

Obey the 10 mph speed limit, or as posted. Off-road vehicles must comply with state and federal law for operation in the campground.

  • Additional camp units

Additional camp units on a site are subject to an additional camp unit fee, paid directly at the campground.

  • Visitors

Visitors staying more than 1 hour at any facility are subject to a picnic fee. Visiting hours end at 8:00 pm.

A summary of these rules is posted on the bulletin board at the campground. To reserve a campsite, call 928-537-4126 or reserve online.
